About us

Smokescreen Visuals is a film production company based in Sussex. We specialise in corporate and event showcase films, but cater for any requirement where a film is required.

We only use the highest quality camera equipment, including the Sony PMW F3 with ARRI prime lenses.

For sound, we use Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo as standard, and can mix any soundtracks in Dolby Digital 5.1 and create an AC3 audio stream for DVD’s or Blu-ray Discs.

Our picture grading and editing techniques are the same found in many Motion pictures. The editing suite we use is Full HD Matrox AXIO inc After Effects with live 5.1 monitoring. We have full Blu-ray authoring facilities, so all our films are fully HD capable.

Smokescreen Visuals has achieved four national Institute of Videography (IOV) awards, in 2006, 2007 and two in 2010, and in 2008 gained the Eastbourne Business Awards achievement for Best Small Business.
